Lines in the Sand
Draw a Line in the Sand.
New Jersey is one of the most densely populated states in the US. It is demographically and geographically varied; you could drive through three towns and two biomes in twenty minutes. The richest communities border the poorest communities. The most mild border the most violent. Every community is uniquely its own and yet, at any moment, able to turn its head and peer at any number of other, very different communities. This goes not only for the towns and cities – but as well for the monsters that prowl in their shadows. We're all in pockets, packed closely together. And in a place that is so clustered with variety, and which has no borders to speak of, all we have to rely on are lines in the sand.
